WHO WE ARE
Virginians for Reliable Energy is a coalition of individuals, civic groups and businesses that have a common goal to advocate on behalf of investments in diverse energy sources and infrastructure to produce reliable, affordable energy and new employment opportunities in Virginia. Current founding partners are Dominion, Columbia Gas (NiSource), ODEC (Old Dominion Electric Cooperative), and Appalachian Power. Coalition members include hundreds of businesses and individuals.
All Virginians are impacted by energy prices. Raising awareness and supporting diverse energy sources will protect against disruptions from over-reliance on any one source and promote stable energy prices. Virginians for Reliable Energy aims to be an active voice in the energy debate and endorses long-term energy planning and infrastructure construction.
